Maths Learning Story

In Maths I have been learning to:

I have been learning to use different strategies to solve problems quickly; like place value partitioning, basic facts, inverse, adding or Multiplying the hundreds, tens and ones.

I can justify and explain my thinking when I am working together with my learning team. I can share my clever ideas so everyone in my learning team can solve the problem and understands.

I also have been learning to use what I already know to help me make connections with my learning team and use friendly arguing to disagree with my team mates so they can give me feedback.

I can ask questions like "Can you help me, I don't understand what the problem is asking me?" "Why did you use that strategy to help you find the answer?" "How did you work our the answer to the problem?"

I can also read the problem carefully and understand what the problem is asking me to do.

My next steps is to use mathematical language to talk about my ideas and explain and justify the strategies my learning team using examples.

My Evidence:
I can work with different people to solve problems
